Maryland congressman Elijah Cummings met with President Trump at the White House yesterday about lowering the price of prescription drugs. And, Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development led a demonstration at City Hall yesterday, calling on city leaders to work with the state to close the Baltimore Public School System's $130 million budget gap. School officials have warned that as many as 1,000 employees could be laid off if the shortfall is not addressed. The city’s budget is due in Annapolis on March 20.
