Baltimore City Has New Plan For Seniors' Water Bills 

After announcing last month that it's cracking down on unpaid water bills, Baltimore city officials are now announcing they have a plan that will reduce water bills by 39 percent for senior citizens. The city is being clear that even though its reducing senior's water bills, it isn't forgiving those debts, and say collecting payments is critical to keeping the water system running.

Baltimore School Officers Changing Roles 

Baltimore City school police officers will no longer carry weapons inside schools, but School Police Force Chief Marshall Goodwin says bike and foot patrols are being developed so officers can carry guns outside school buildings and enter buildings in an emergency. Last month, Baltimore City’s delegation in Annapolis struck down a measure that would allow officers to carry guns in schools.
