Gospel Grace's Ernestine Jones and Kelle' Avent represented well at the Festival of Praise Tour 2016, starring Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Karen Clark Sheard, Regina Belle, Casey J, Israel Houghton and comedian Earthquake. The pair greeted listeners during intermission and were welcomed with great enthusiasm!

This weekend WEAA was present during Morgan States's Homecoming game for the first time in years!

The room hushed as over 500 women of all ages, mostly African American, held their breath and watched Taraji P. Henson emerge from the curtains onto the stage of Baird Auditorium at the National Museum of Natural History this weekend. Tickets to see RAH were one of the many premiums offered during the WEAA 88.9 Fall Membership Drive last week.

On Wednesday September 28, The Baltimore Blend's Robert Shahid and Mykel Hunter, along with Wealthy Radio's Deborah Owens, hosted "Yes, You Can Afford College" -- a special WEAA Coffee & Conversation broadcast.

On Friday, September 16, WEAA teamed up with WURD Philadelphia for a live broadcast from the Congressional Black Caucus 46th Annual Legislative conference in Washington DC. Listen back as Sean Yoes, Catalina Byrd, and Solomon Jones bring you conversations with state legislators and leaders in Congress, including Senator Catherine Pugh, Representative Elijah Cummings, and Jeff Johnson.
