Listen Now - April 2014

Community Care Partners for April is Elder Theodore L. Barber Scholarship Foundation, Inc. and is dedicated to the memory of the late Elder Theodore L. Barber. He was an associate minister of the Refuge Way of the Cross Church of Christ in Baltimore, Maryland. He ministered and gave to the homeless, downtrodden poverty stricken and those who sought a second chance of life. He was a community activist who advocated promoting excellence in college bound students. The foundation was founded with the express purpose of aiding young people in going to college.

This non-profit organization offers students scholarships for academics and community services. Many projects are involved within this program; such as conducting college financial-aid workshops and having available resources for state and national levels. Students will also have the opportunity to become actively engage in extracurricular like being in a play production. Judge Claudia Barber looks forward to seeing new faces and give support to all academic achievers.
