Guest host Dr. Kaye Wise Whitehead discusses how to teach about the election and the Black Lives Matter movement. Guests include: Stephanie Troutman, Associate Professor of English at the University of Arizona College of Social and Behavioral Sciences; Jocelyn Thomas, 11th grade U.S.History and Gender, Race and Memoir teacher at YES Prep Public Schools in Houston, Texas; and Dr. Stephen A. Hall, a Program Coordinator of History at Alcorn State University.

 

Dr. Kaye Wise Whitehead is the Associate Professor of Communication and African and African American Studies at Loyola University Maryland and author of Race Brave: New and Selected Works, Notes From a Colored Girl: The Civil War Pocket Diaries of Emile Frances Davis, and My Black Sons: Raising Boys in a Post-Racial America.
