Mayor Catherine Pugh say she has a plan to close the $130 million budget gap facing Baltimore City schools. The Mayor told large crowd rallying for city school funding in Annapolis last night that she’ll announce her plan on Monday. Dr. Sonja Santelises, CEO of Baltimore City Public Schools, also attended the rally. And, Howard County Public Schools say they will continue to follow state policies regarding transgender students, despite Trump’s elimination of federal protections.
