Local News: Hogan to Propose $24 Million to BCPS; In DC, 22 Children Reported Missing in Last Year

Governor Larry Hogan announced yesterday that today he will propose that Baltimore City schools get an extra $24 million. A vigil was held over the weekend in Hampden to honor the black man killed by Hampden resident James Jackson, who traveled to New York city last week to commit hate crimes against black people. The Metropolitan Police Department has acknowledged that there are 22 open cases involving children reported missing this year, and most of them are black or latina girls. The Congressional Black Caucus is calling for a federal investigation.
