The Community Cares for July is The Journey Continues Breast Cancer Survivor Organization. It was founded by inaugural President and Co-Founder Marlene King, who transitioned in November 2015.
A true warrior, King embodied strength, courage and love — love that was felt by all and will live on through TJC’s mission and her annual warrior walk. Her desire was to have a walk in Baltimore City for all of those impacted by ANY type of cancer, promoting unity and awareness. The multi-colored ribbon represents the many colors of the different types of cancer awareness.
TJC’s first annual 5K Warrior Walk is on Sunday, August 28 th at the Druid Hill Park Lake Loop. You do not have to participate to donate, but you have to register to walk. Register here
