Two people had to be rescued from the fire, and several others were displaced and one firefighter suffered minor injuries.  The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause, but early reports indicate the blaze may have sparked up from fireplace ashes left on a balcony. The Harford County Fire Department reported the bulk of the fire was contained at 4 a.m. The last units cleared just after 5:30 this morning and one firefighter was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Around 2:39 a.m., Abingdon Fire Company along with mutual side companies assisted in the 1200 block Ravenwood, Belcamp, 3rd alarm working apartment fire. The Harford County Fire Department says the incident is still active.
