Papa WaBe

Host, Reggae Roots and Culture

Radio veteran Walter J. Berry II, or Papa WaBe as he is affectionately known to his listening audience, hosts Reggae Roots and Culture, Baltimore’s premier reggae program, every Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Co-hosting alongside Papa WaBe is his “A one selecta” Kiki Meeks, Mr. Music, and the ever energetic and musically gifted Sister Ichelle Cole of the nationally renowned Strykers Posse Band.

This dynamic team of Ras Tafari followers hails from the US and various parts of the Caribbean, including Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
