Host, Mornings with Mykel

As the host of Mornings with Mykel, Mykel Hunter's warm, honey-toned voice is one of the first WEAA listeners hear each morning. The savvy multi-media personality delivers a deep natural passion for everything media and motivating and connecting with people from all walks of life. Mykel is a graduate of Morgan State University and is a sought-after professional voice-over artist who has worked for an Atlanta-based reality show, Empowerment Temple Church in Baltimore, and various other companies.  

The Baltimore Blend features vocalist and artist Mycah Chevalier. Chevalier is currently putting the final touches on her second album. Expect a satisfying sound of classic urban contemporary music.

The Baltimore Blend features pianist Dawoud Said.

The Baltimore Blend honors the life of Arnold Sterling, a Baltimore native and nationally recognized jazz saxophonist, through conversations with those he taught and loved.

Wilton Felder passed away on September 27th. He was the last surviving member of the original Jazz Crusaders.
